1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using RozHisab ("the Service", "we", "us", or "our") at rozhisab.com, you ("User", "you") agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of RozHisab after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Description of Service

RozHisab is India's best personal finance app that allows users to:

• Track daily expenses — UPI, Cash, Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking.
• Import and analyse bank statement CSV files from HDFC, SBI, ICICI, Axis, Kotak, and other banks.
• Set and monitor monthly budgets by category.
• Track mutual fund portfolios (SIP, lumpsum, ELSS) with live NAV from AMFI.
• Track stock portfolios (NSE, BSE) with live prices.
• Track tax savings under 80C, 80D, 80CCD (ELSS, PPF, NPS, health insurance).
• Use financial calculators (SIP, Step-Up SIP, EMI, Salary, GST).
• Track recurring bills and subscriptions.
• Export transaction data and reports as CSV/PDF files.
• View spending analytics, trends, and insights.

3. Account Registration

• You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account.
• You must provide accurate and complete information during registration (name, email, password).
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You must notify us immediately at support@rozhisab.com if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.
• Each person may register only one account. Multiple accounts for the same individual are not permitted.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use RozHisab to:

• Upload, transmit, or store any unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or illegal content.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to other users' accounts or our systems.
• Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the Service in an abusive manner (scraping, excessive API calls, DDoS attacks).
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the application.
• Use the Service for any commercial purpose without our written consent.
• Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state your affiliation.
• Violate any applicable Indian law or regulation.
• Upload malicious files, viruses, or any code designed to disrupt the Service.
• Share your account credentials with others or allow unauthorised access.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these usage policies without prior notice.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, features, functionality, design, code, logos, and trademarks of RozHisab are the exclusive property of RozHisab and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Your Data Ownership: You retain full ownership of the financial data you enter into RozHisab. We do not claim any ownership rights over your personal or financial data. You can export and delete your data at any time.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works, or publicly display any part of the Service without our express written consent.

6. Data Security & Privacy

RozHisab takes data security seriously. We implement the following measures:

• AES-256 Encryption: All transaction descriptions and notes are encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption with a unique key per account.
• Bank Statement Processing: Uploaded bank statement CSV files are parsed in memory and immediately discarded. We never store the original file.
• Secure Transmission: All data is transmitted over HTTPS with TLS encryption.
• No Data Selling: We do not sell, share, or monetise your financial data. We do not show ads.
• Access Controls: Our team cannot read your encrypted transaction descriptions. Only aggregated, anonymised data may be used for analytics.

7. Disclaimers

• Calculator results (SIP, Step-Up SIP, EMI, Salary, GST) are estimates based on user-provided inputs. Actual figures may vary.
• Mutual fund NAV data is sourced from AMFI and third-party providers. We do not guarantee real-time accuracy.
• Stock prices are sourced from third-party market data providers and may have delays.
• Tax saving calculations are informational only. Actual tax liability depends on your complete financial situation and applicable laws.
• The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties, express or implied.
• We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses.
• Automatic transaction categorisation from bank statements may not be 100% accurate. You are responsible for reviewing and correcting categories.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, RozHisab shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of data or financial information due to technical failures, account deletion, or security breaches.
• Financial decisions made based on data, insights, or calculations from RozHisab.
• Service interruptions, downtime, or technical failures.
• Unauthorised access to your account by third parties despite our security measures.
• Inaccurate transaction categorisation from bank statement imports.
• Errors in calculator results or mutual fund/stock price data.
• Loss of income, revenue, or business opportunities.

Maximum Liability: Our total liability for any claims arising from the use of RozHisab shall not exceed ₹5,000 (five thousand rupees) or the amount you paid us in the last 12 months, whichever is greater.

9. Termination

9.1 Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time from Settings → Danger Zone → Delete Account. Upon termination:

• All your data (transactions, budgets, investments, bills) will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
• You will receive a confirmation email after account deletion.
• If you have an active Premium subscription, no refunds will be provided for unused time.

9.2 Termination by Us

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time if you:

• Violate these Terms of Service or our Acceptable Use Policy.
• Engage in fraudulent, illegal, or abusive activity.
• Use the Service in a way that harms other users or our infrastructure.

In case of termination by us without cause, we will provide reasonable notice where possible and may offer a pro-rated refund for Premium subscriptions.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from the use of RozHisab shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Dhanbad, Jharkhand, India.

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
